Limitations
Okay, so what's the catch? Why aren't people currently doing drone delivery?
However, there are limitations to drone delivery. Drones have a limited range and payload capacity, which means they may not be able to deliver larger or heavier items. Weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and technical issues could also limit their efficiency. On top of this remotely piloted aircraft systems that can carry large payload are still quite expensive. In order to operate within regulations we only fly with 2500m+ visibility. Plus the weather restrictions aircraft only operate on scheduled routes. While we might not be delivering food yet. We plan on delivering smaller objects with large impacts like seeds/digital storage first.
